Advice to interns from the President:

The intern program has been an interesting part of Meadowview. In your application make sure you put a lot of thought into your answers and you have studied the Meadowview website thoroughly and understand what we are trying to do. We're looking for interns that are highly motivated, intelligent and inquisitive, work well with others, are physically fit, have high moral and ethical standards, have a working knowledge and proficiency with garden tools and equipment, and a good dose of common sense. Expect additional questions from me on your qualifications and application.

We've got great facilities, a great mission, and a great preserve system so we have a lot to offer. You can expect the intern program to be like a boot camp but with an academic twist like a masters program. I will challenge you both physically and intellectually. It's a challenge for me too and takes a lot on my part so I'll expect a lot from you but in the end I think you will learn a lot and benefit from what we have to offer.
